At Watersportcentrum De Brekken in Lemmer, we completed a fantastic project together with the client. The existing jetty had an outdated deck that was due for replacement. In consultation with the client, we opted for a future-proof solution: installing glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) gratings.
The black GRP grilles have been incorporated for aesthetic reasons into the non-walkable canopy of this beautiful office building in Alkmaar.
Geveka supplied heavy-duty plastic gratings for the fixed scaffolding on behalf of KWS Aquavia. Heavy-duty gratings were chosen because forklifts drive over the fixed scaffolding. Heavy-duty gratings are ideal for handling heavy loads.
Geveka Roosters supplied and installed plastic gratings on site for Transnational Blenders in Dordrecht.
Commissioned by W2 Support – Port Development, Geveka Roosters supplied GRP gratings for the jetties in the Genemuiden Binnenhaven. The unique color scheme of the jetties allows them to retain their traditional wood look. The Binnenhaven looks beautiful again!
The criteria for the gratings included a long service life, minimal maintenance, and a safe design under all conditions. Furthermore, it was important that the gratings be corrosion-resistant due to the salty seawater. Therefore, GRP gratings were chosen.
A floating walkway has been installed in the center of Wanssum. GRP grating was chosen for its durability, safe anti-slip properties, corrosion-free, rot-proof design, and very low-maintenance properties.
