The Solid Top gratings (gratings with a closed deck) are our Standard gratings with a Grid plate on top. This makes the Standard gratings 3mm thicker. The Solid Top gratings are ideal for creating rough surfaces with high load-bearing capacity, such as floors, corridors, walkways, gangways, and landings. Because the grating is closed, prefabricated elements cannot become stuck or fall through the mesh. The plastic gratings are reliable and have excellent wear and load-bearing properties.

The Solid Top grilles are typically attached with an O-clip. A hole is drilled from the top into the closed deck, allowing the screw to be secured to the underlying profile.
Another option is to attach the Solid Top grilles from the side. If the grille needs to be installed somewhere, the recess is made there. Drilling from the side with just a screw.
